Weekend Reads

Sometimes a novel is great, but an easy read is more inspiring and empowering. Reading from an actual book, not your kindle or phone, but holding on to the paper, you separate distraction from your life. It also is a great accent piece to any home.

Here are two books that have inspired us.

Nada's recommendation is "The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage" by Mel Robbins. As a mother of two and has me as a husband, Nada finds herself overwhelmed from exhaustion, especially as my wife and my energy levels. Robbins' simple rules allow Nada to, as she would put it, 'slack' or 'unmotivated.' This book will help jump-start your motivation in any circumstance.

I recommend "Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet" by Jesse Itzler. It is downright hilarious. Jesse is the husband of the founder of Spanx (Sara Blakely) and is also a self-made entrepreneur. He wants to step outside his daily routine in NYC and then finds himself challenging himself. It is an easy read and great for the weekend.

Until Next Week!
